How To Be More Productive in 2023

Must Read

Today I’m gonna share with you some simple yet powerful productivity hacks that will help you to beat procrastination, stay focused & achieve your goals.

These are the productivity hacks that I use every day so, I know these work. give them a try & see the change.

If you want to be on top of your productivity game I recommend you check out this – Procrastination Hunter – Productivity Task Planner Pad With Motivational Cover

Break down tasks into smaller pieces:

Break down big tasks into smaller, more manageable chunks. This will help you focus on completing one small step at a time and make it easier to keep track of your progress.

If you set up a goal that is difficult to complete at a time, just the fear of its difficulty will make you procrastinate. So cut down the huge project into a set of simple tasks that would motivate you to take an action to complete your tasks.

For this I recommend you use Notion – It is a flexible workspace that helps you to organize & manage your tasks, notes & projects in one place.

I personally use Notion for pretty much everything – from creating tasks & To-do lists to taking notes, maintaining my work & even journalling.

It is free to use, So I highly recommend you use this to get more productive

Set realistic goals:

Set realistic goals for yourself and create a plan of action to make sure you stay on track. Doing this will help you stay motivated and focused on completing your tasks.

Be real while setting up goals, yes you need to always aim for big but if you set unrealistic goals & when you fail to achieve them, not only you’ll get disappointed but you’ll mostly end up giving up.

For Example

If you are starting a youtube channel or a blog rather than setting an unrealistic goal like I’ll get 1k traffic in this month itself, set up a goal like I’ll upload a video every day or thrice a week.

In this way – your goals are far more achievable & as they are realistic you’ll be able to complete them & which will keep you motivated to move forward.

Again Notion comes pretty hand to set & manage your goals

Utilize a planner:

Use a planner to write down tasks, deadlines, and any other important information that you need to keep track of. This will help you stay organized and make sure that you don’t miss any important tasks.

This is one of the most under-appreciated yet effective productivity hacks.

Writing down the things you need to do using a planner will give you a clear picture of what you need to do, it will also take the load off your brain & most importantly you’ll be able to prioritize the tasks that are important & in this way, you can get more work done in less time (as you don’t need to worry about what to do next)

There are n number of planners available on Amazon that you can check out or you can use a digital planner

This is the particular one that I use for myself & I love it, so you can check it if you want

Take breaks:

Taking regular breaks throughout the day can help you stay focused and energized. Take a few minutes to step away from your work and regroup.

Yes! it is important to be goal oriented & give it your 100% but you can only give your 100% when you are not burnt out & that can be done only when you give yourself some time to relax.

Taking breaks not only helps to minimize stress & workload but it is proven that giving yourself just 10 – 15 mins can actually double your productivity.

When you take some minutes to relax, your brain recharges itself so that it can give its 100%.

During these breaks, you can listen to music, take a walk, read or listen to audiobooks

Set a timer:

Time yourself when working on tasks and set a goal to complete the task within a certain time frame. This will help you stay focused and motivated.

Giving yourself a deadline is a must, especially if you are someone like me who is self-employed. You don’t have anyone to report to, nor anyone to keep you accountable.

So, It becomes easy to postpone tasks which is a big no-no if you want to achieve your goals.

That is why it is really important that you set a time limit for your tasks.

these deadlines will help you to complete your tasks by creating a sense of urgency which is really important to get things done.

You can use this free web extension called clockify to time your tasks ( I use it for myself, it is absolutely free)

So what are you waiting for? try these hacks & see how easy it is to stay focused & get your work done.
