New Changes in Amazon KDP

If you are a seller on Amazon KDP & if you have logged in recently I’m sure you might have this message.

From the time this notice has come up, many people are getting worried

because RedBubble has recently done some pretty big changes which have left RedBubble users quite disappointed & most people are freaking out thinking KDP is on its way to doing the same.

So, Before you freak out & worry yourself

I thought to post a simple article talking about what the new KDP Update is & what you need to do

This is what the notification says

Here is the breakdown of what this new kdp update is

As it states the publishing cost of kdp books is gonna change as of June 2023.

This means you’ll still be able to publish your books on KDP but the printing cost will be higher.

For Example: On average publishing a low-content book with a standard cover & white interior used to cost $2-$3, it might be increased to $4-$6.

You don’t have to worry about this, You just need to increase your book pricing.

Because when the publishing costs change – if you don’t make the change, you might end up not earning any royalties for your book sales

Action Required

Amazon is giving you until 19 June 2023 to change the prices of the book. It will give you the list of all your books which will be affected by this change.

You can go ahead & manually set the new pricing for each book or let Amazon do it for you by using the bulk update feature.

Just change the price of your book & you are done!
